SUNRICH was born on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, where life is shaped by the sun. Days begin and end outside, at the water's edge, in the backyard, and everywhere in between. Growing up here, caring for your skin was never seasonal. It was simply part of everyday life.
We are two sisters who grew up in that rhythm of life. As adults, we searched for sun essentials that reflected the way those days felt: joyful, intentional, and beautiful. Instead, we found products that were either clinical or an afterthought. Nothing celebrated both the protection and the pleasure of living a richer life in the sun.
So we decided to build what we couldn't find. Every product begins with a real need, then is refined through thoughtful design and countless revisions until it earns its place in your daily ritual.
Hawaiʻi guides every decision we make, and we carry that as a responsibility, not a theme. Our respect for the people, culture, and place that raised us is reflected in how we create, how we grow, and how we hope to give back.

Growing up in Hawaiʻi, life revolved around being outdoors. The sun was simply part of everyday life, and taking care of our skin was something I learned from an early age.
For most of my adult life, I built a career in a completely different industry while raising four amazing kids with my husband. Starting a lifestyle brand was never part of the plan. But there was one idea I could never shake, one that had quietly stayed with me for years until I finally decided it was time to bring it to life.
What I wanted was simple. I was always searching for products that felt beautiful, thoughtfully made, and enjoyable to use every day — and rarely finding them. Instead, I kept choosing between products that performed well but felt clinical, or ones that looked beautiful but didn't deliver the experience I was looking for.
That idea eventually became SUNRICH.
Building SUNRICH has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my life. My hope is that SUNRICH inspires people to enjoy the sun with confidence, embrace simple daily rituals, and experience a brand that's rooted in the warmth, beauty, and values of the place that has always been home.

I have spent over a decade helping founders build and scale some of today's most culturally impactful e-commerce brands through marketing and operations. As an executive working across retail and consumer brands, I have spent years in meetings with some of the world's largest retailers, helping bring brands to market on a national scale.
Throughout that journey, one thing became increasingly clear. While Hawaiʻi has long inspired products, marketing, and lifestyle brands around the world, authentic representation from founders born and raised in the islands remains rare. I believed Hawaiʻi deserved more than inspiration. It deserved a seat at the table.
That belief led me to partner with my sister, Anna Liza, whose vision for creating exceptional products inspired by Hawaiʻi aligned with my vision of building a globally recognized brand. Together, we founded SUNRICH Hawaii to authentically represent the islands, create opportunities for our community, and give back to the place we will always call home.
